Stozu was a Bulgarian hosting company that shut down in July 2024 due to maintenance issue and issues staying alive as a comapny itself. It lasted 2 years in total, with different stages such as the removal of the Free tier.
Who was involved?
A lot of people actually, such as Logiceb, which was the owner, me, amogus, kokohri, avik.hi, some capybara guy 😭, and a ton of amazing staff people that helped Stozu grow up, and be better till the end.
How was Stozu even making profit?
Well, in short, using AdSense (Google Ads), donations, and also before we had a "AFK farm" system, that allowed customers to load ads for us, in exchange of coins to make servers for themselves.
What did I learn from it?
Well I learnt how to configure Pterodactyl panels, fix issues with people's servers, and finally get experience helping people with communication in other languages (most of the customers were Indian).
